A big audience turned up this evening at St William’s to hear Jesuit theologian Fr Richard Leonard tell the very personal story of his sister’s terrible accident and the deep theological lessons about suffering and our response to it that it has brought.
His small book ‘Where the hell is God?’ sold out. Many people’s personal ideas of God and prayer would be challenged by what he says but he’s a hard-core theologian able to talk deeply about very tough issues while at the same time making us laugh.
